Use on any flat surface. Perfect for tumblers, and even apply them on clothes! These foils allow you to control the amount of foil you transfer, whether you want a full transfer or just a little.
SPECIFICATIONS:
These foils are in rolls, and are sold "by the foot"; they will be custom cut by the linear foot. Example: Quantity of 2 means you will receive a 2 foot linear piece of foil.
There are 3 keys steps to applying foils:
1. Apply tacky glue
2. Apply foil
3. Seal
Apply Tacky Glue
Apply a layer of gilding glue to the surface of your project, and wait 1 to 24 hours (the longer you wait, the better the tackiness works.) The tacky we recommend specifically for these foils is ArtsSyVille Embellishments Foil Adhesive.
Apply Foil
Use a nail brush or finishing pad to scrub the foil onto your piece. Start on one edge, and as you scrub, lift the foil. Lay it back down, and scrub, again. It's important you scrub the foil twice. (This will allow the foil to adhere better to pores/indentations that may be on the surface.)
Seal
Apply a water-based finishing coat to finish the project, and to stop things from sticking to the tacky glue :). We recommend Dixie Belle Paint's Clear Coat or Gator Hide.
