Dixie Belle Gator Hide is the ultimate top coat for high-traffic pieces and surfaces that need extra durability. Known for its tough-as-nails finish and water-repellent properties, Gator Hide provides superior protection while keeping your painted furniture looking beautiful.

Ideal for kitchen tables, cabinets, bathroom vanities, or outdoor pieces, this water-based sealer dries clear and resists water, grease, and everyday wear and tear.

Gator Hide is easy to apply with a brush, sponge, or applicator pad and dries to a satin sheen that’s both sleek and strong. It’s the go-to choice for long-lasting protection with a professional finish.

  • Available in three sizes:
    • 8 oz – Great for small projects
    • 16 oz – Perfect for medium furniture pieces
    • 32 oz – Best for large projects or multiple piecesSizes: 8 oz., 16 oz., and 32 oz.
  • Finish: Water-repellent Satin
  1. Stir Gator Hide before use.
  2. Apply 1 thin coat of Gator Hide and let it dry completely. Moving in only one direction, and minimal back brushing.
  3. Apply another coat after 2 hours.
  4. You may use a fine grit sandpaper or 0000 steal wool between coats for a more polished look.

Note: You can add up to 3 coats.

Recommended Products: Blue sponge, finishing pad, and chalk mineral paint.
