Mechanical Insectica Silicone Mould

I have already used these molds and I love them. They are deep and very detailed. I used resin and the molds releashed it easily.

I do a lot of Steampunk, so this mold caught my eye. I learned to corn starch the mold, as well as the surrounding areas. It is much easier to unmold and trim of the excess.

I was so excited to receive this mold for a mixed media project I'm doing, so I took it out and immediately used the mold. The insect was exactly like the mold except one of the legs fell off because the mold is a bit stiff which makes it hard to release on the thin portions. I ended up throwing the first try back into the clay bag because I wasn't satisfied with the end result. I will try again when I get ready to do my project.
