If your paint looks a bit thick when you open it. Do not fear! The thickening of paint happens because the clay is absorbing the emulsifier in the paint, which helps in thinning.
Here are some tips:
- Hold the jar upside down and shake it vigorously & stir well. When it is shaken properly, clay will loosen and release the emulsifier which will thin the paint for application.
- Do not add water. Adding water will thin the paint and affect the consistency which cannot be recuperated.
- If you still want to add some water, feel free to mist your paintbrush.
